How The Eagle does it

Prince Olawale Suleiman Ayinla, the President of Gold Silktech Group gave an insight to what he does and what he wants to do.
Personal branding is a leadership requirement; how far would you go in branding yourself for the success of your career and development as a leader?
Personal branding is very essential in today's business development; as the president of Gold Silktech Group (Nigeria & Malaysia), I give personal branding top priority because this goes a long way in managing my organization adequately.

What's success to you and how do you go about it?
I stand up to challenges in life, I believe success is a must. Its the only final result of a good work. I go about achieving success in whatever l do by working hard and been persistent on any project l focus on. I have always understand that success comes with a lot of challenges and the road to success has never been an easy part, but with enough hard work and persistent definitely success can be achieved.
Tell us about a project or accomplishment that you consider to be the most significant to you?.
I have had a number of achievements in my carrier; however the most significant project for me at this moment is yet to be accomplished. I will feel more fulfilled when am able to accomplish my projection of creating a channel that will facilitate developing bilateral trade and cultural heritage exchange between Malaysia and Nigeria.

If you were given a contract, loved everything about it, and are paid what you asked for; what kind of offer from another institution would make you change your mind.
As a President of  international trading companies, I am ethical and culture oriented on product and services we market, I will rather for go a big contract for a smaller one if such product or service will not be beneficial to the community involve. I would appreciate marketing anti malaria medicines in Nigeria than marketing air conditioner in Siberia.
Looking back into your journey and what you have achieved so far; who and what inspired you?
My drive and inspiration for what l have done or achieved is my dream for the future. I have a dream.

Which animal would you compare yourself with?
If l have to compare myself to any animal, l guess that will be an Eagle.

We know that you are an international man; where would you retire to as your permanent country of abode?
I have always thought of where l will choose to retire after living away from home for more than twenty years now, however l still believe l will always have two homes in different part of the world when l will retire. That is Nigeria and Malaysia.
Are you are religious person, if so what's religion to you?
I am a muslim and my faith in God is very important to me, but l will rather not discuss about religion due to a lot of misconception and translation of faith and religion. I am definitely not a extremist.

Tell us about a time when things didn't go the way you wanted (like a promotion you wanted and didn't get, or a project that didn't turn out how you had wanted it?
I do not accept defeat easily, but I have learnt to accept things l cannot change in life. Life goes on.

For few readers that don’t know you, what would you like them to know about you and to always remember you for?
I am a man with a dream and strong determination on whatever l am doing. Nothing good really come easy in life, we have to work for it. For me nothing is impossible, there is always a way to get through.
