Straight Talk with Hon. Wole Oke; the two-term member of the House of Representatives, and 2014 Osun State of Nigeria Gubernatorial Aspirant.

Personal branding is a leadership requirement; how far would you go in branding yourself for the success of your career and development as a leader? Branding: I will simply lead by example. Do what I preach. The populace should know where I stand on issues and find me reliable and predictable.

As former Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Defence,  you have sponsored ten bills out of which four received the assent of The President; how do you feel with such achievement and what would you do better if giving the chance to serve your people again? They remain my treasure. Giving an opportunity to serve again, I will seek to proactively sharpen The Executive Arm of Government policies and direct the government productively.

Tell us about a project or accomplishment that you consider to be the most significant to you?
Setting up of Airforce Formation in Ipetu Ijesa with the collaboration of Air Marshal Oluseyi Petirin. 

Setting up Armed Forces Games Village in Itegun Ijesa. 

Setting up Armed Forces Physical Training Institute in Esa Oke.

If you were given a contract, loved everything about it, and are paid what you asked for; what kind of offer from another institution would make you change your mind?

I'm not a Contractor so I don't fit in.

Looking back into your journey and what you have achieved so far; who and what inspired you? God and Chief Bola Ige.

We know that public finance is very important in governance. How competent are you in the field of finance? That's my area of specialisation and am at home any time any day. I can single handedly write or craft a Nation Tax laws and fiscal policies.

Tell us about a time when things didn't go the way you wanted (like a promotion you wanted and didn't get, or a project that didn't turn out how you had wanted it? Nothing bothers me. Except poverty in the life of the masses. 

What is your advice to the authorities in Nigeria in terms of security and corruption? Security issues are not discussed in a market square. I can offer my advise in this area confidentially to the Government. Corruption is a disease which requires a total reorientation. It kills and destroys a Nation.

We know that you an international man; where and what is home to you?
My Family is my home wherever we are. But I love my village Esa Oke most.

Which animal would you compare yourself with? Dove.

For few readers that don’t know you, what would you like them to know about you and to always remember you for? I'm a very simple easy going. Very upright and truthful at all times. I love, I don't hate. I share out of what I have. I don't take what does not belong to me. My only weakness is that I like to be in the midst of decent, honest beautiful/ handsome hardworking, intelligent women and men.
