An Insight into Nina Sambou's World: A Self-Motivated Singer

It's an act of humanity to promote and bring to light those stars that are not often talked about. Their voices and stories must be heard because, they are playing significant role in the society. I was amazed when my path crossed that of a brilliant pretty artist, Nina Sambou. She's not just a pretty face; she's well cultured and excellently schooled. It was a pleasant moment to discuss with her, and I got to know more about her. This is an insight into her World.

You are an up and coming Singer; to what extent would you go in branding yourself to reach stardom?
Well music and luck has a lot in common, so I should be noted that I can make myself lucky by doing what needs to be done appropriately to reach the top level, but as we all know music is very hard in the Gambia due to financial problems, that's the only headache most of us face.

What and who inspired you?
My mum inspired me to do many activities that I'm involved in. She taught me life, how to live it and she's always there when I need advise. She taught me how to be nice to people, but like other people I have my limits. She always pressure me to stay focus on my education, because is the key to success. She taught me to be strong in faith no matter what may come my way, that sometimes life can be salty, bitter or sweet like sugar, but  one must always be courageous, kind and helpful.

Which animal would you compare yourself with, and why?
A fire Dragon, because I'm tough; sometimes I let my temper get the best of me, I can be aggressive, competitive but amaze people.

How do you feel when you perform on stage?
I do perform in front of massive audience at big events, like concerts and school events. Being on stage is magical, there's nothing like it, I feel the energy of everyone out there.

Tell us about your new video, and where can our followers and your fans get a copy to buy?
My new video can be added in the long list top of chart, because this is on fire and I feel happy about it, your followers and my fans can get it on youtube video downloader apps or any music video downloader apps and they can grab a copy by contacting me as soon as possible.

Best day of the week, and why?
Sunday is the best day of the week for me, because I have the time to worship God in the Church, to go visiting and also rest fully with my family.

What are your biggest achievements so far, and what are your plans for the future?
I have achieved enlightenment; I graduated with good grades in Business Studies and Management from college and now I'm a full time artist (singer), facing life in a large part is a matter of luck. I could only say I have my future in my own hands, I'm a woman of destiny, and soon I will expand by God's grace.

What are your challenges as a singer?
The biggest challenge I face as a singer is lack of flow cash. Although it may be difficult to identify, but I need real assistance to be able to work on my productions to make more songs and shoot video's because there is a huge market for sale when my albums are being produced.

Are you charitable? Yes, I am charitable.

Describe The Gambia in your own words?

The Gambia our homeland is a peaceful country; popularly known as the "Smiling Coast of Africa" the land of nature. A country that is full of amazing things, a land full of tradition and culture the land of humanity, respect and love for one another, a country that is serving tourism.
