Nollywood Star, Bobby Michaels Reveals His Innermost


From afar I see him as a model, could be because I'm into beauty, fashion and modelling, making me to see, search and spot elegance and class in people, it's part of me. Bobby is nicely built, sophisticated, elegant and knows how to carry himself well without looking down on any other. Bobby Michael is not a professional model, but surely qualified to be one, he's "Bobby of all trade, master of all"; he's a Nigerian actor, filmmaker, songwriter and singer. Let's go to his innermost:

What's it like to be a movie star? A whole lot.

What did you study and where? I studied dramatic arts at the University of Vits in South Africa.

Who inspired you in life? My parents especially my mum.

What do you want to attain in life? I want to be a global film star.


Are you charitable? Yes very charitable.

What do you want people to know about you? I want them to know a good person.

Apart from yourself; who's your number one actor and actress? Denzel Washington and Julie Andrews.

What would you like to achieve in 10 years? 3 oscars and a few hit movies to my name.

What's love to you? Love means the greatest gift given to one person from the heart of another.


Name few of your movies and co-stars in each one of them? In Face of a liar I had with me co-stars as Monalisa Chinda and Rita Dominic. I was in Heaven's gate series with Monalisa Chinda and Fred Amata. In End Time, Clems Ohameze featured in it. Lagos Cougars' co-stars were Uche Jombo, Monalisa Chinda and Alex Ekubo; In Banana Island, I featured in it with Queen Nwokoye and Angela Okorie. I have starred in over 70 movies in Nollywood till date.


Which directors have you worked with? I have worked with Desmond Elliot, Chidi Chikere, Stanley Ebonine and host of others.

What was the experience like on each movie? My experience so far has been awesome. Nollywood is growing very fast and so are it's practitioners. I love it here.

Where are the outlets to buy your movies? Outlets to buy my work will most probably be on Iroko Network, African Magic, Mnet and DVD stores nationwide.

What are you busy with at the moment? I'm busy filming a reality TV show called Kitchen 24.


Which animal would you compare yourself with and why? A lion, because I'm considered by my friends to be large hearted.

Bobby is going places and that's for sure, I can see his energy and passion for what he does. We ended our interview with, "Thank you, and thank you too"
