Why You Mustn't Use Chat Abbreviations

It's advisable not to use chat abbreviations because most people do not have the time for the interpretation of chat abbreviations, more so, there are no longer any stated rules; each individual comes up with own chat abbreviation style. For a lot, it's a waste of time guessing what your chat abbreviation means, it could be very confusing too.

Why should someone send a message/note/letter to anyone they don't know, most especially when it's the first time communicating with the individual; many times, it's the first time and also the message is to solicit for a favour or the other. For sure, you automatically miss it. Even, when you know the person you are communicating with, they must be familiar with your abbreviations and accept them too; if not it doesn't look decent.

Many people, like me, will ignore a note/message of such because it's a sign of laziness and also of disrespect.

If you need someone's time and support, you should know how to spend your time too, and also, must be very clear in what you want to talk about.

At times, I do advice such people to be formal and polite. They need to understand that, there are loads of people looking for same favour or opportunity that they are seeking for; who are well prepared and decent and, also show good communication skills. Where will they be compared with these people? I guess no where.

Presentation is very crucial in getting anything and everything done. From selling in the market, to being a renowned leader and a lifetime businessman.

Express yourself smartly, formally and respectfully to be able to receive a warm attention.
