How to Know a Good Leader

A good leader:

1. Will cultivate the desire to help others.

2. Will attend to phone calls and text messages, mails; when busy or not available will get back to you by showing respect.

3. Will think beyond today, understanding the fact that, 'it is me today, might be you tomorrow'.

4. Will keep to vows, which must be a bond.

5. Will possess good communication skills with humble and effective 'sparkling' voice to back it up.

6. Will respect and will never disrespect anyone regardless of class, colour, education, religion or gender.

7. Will show appreciation always, no matter what.

8. Will know how to cope under pressure (Prof Jega on my mind).

9. Will be selfless.

10. Will be like a sponge to absorb all sorts, and know how to relate with each individual.

11. Will never use, abuse and dismiss.

12. Will be stable minded and consistent.

13. Will be a peace-loving person and will never destroy others, but build.

14. Will want to see others grow, even higher than own self.

15. Will lead own self first.

To be a leader is a sacrifice; do not go for it or in it just because of societal prestige, money and benefits. I respect the fact and the saying, "people must benefit from where they work/serve", but kindly make others smile, be a blessing and not obstacle or sadness to others.
Being a leader doesn't mean you are the 'man' that runs things, being a leader doesn't mean you created everything.

The UNIVERSE is watching. Do unto others what  you want to be done to you and your immediate family.
