It's only those that take clergymen as supernatural beings and think they don't have blood and water running through their veins, just like any other human being will be disappointed and see things differently if a clergyman sleeps with another woman other than his wife. We are all humans!
We shouldn't get it twisted, if and when a clergyman sleeps with other women other than his wife or have multiple partners doesn't mean he's not blessed spiritually, nor his 'anointing' will leave him. No! The anointing is there, unless he sleeps with a woman with demonic spirits. Even at that, if he's very strong spiritually, he will subdue the evil spirit.
There's nothing wrong about having sex with the 'other', it's about not taking responsibility for one's actions and inactions, when such situation is known to the public. No one is perfect, just as there's no perfect situation, no perfect nation, no perfect religion, no perfect relationship, no perfect clergyman, no perfect culture, no perfection in any aspect of life and living. The best is to improve ourselves each day, it must be a continuous process in life.
We tend to jump from one part of the only bible to the other, just to please our immediate need and deceive others as much as ourselves. For instance: People do quote passages from the Old Testament to get a message across and support their messages; the next day it's another passage from the Old Testament demonising the previous, all of a sudden it becomes "OLD". This is pure double standard and this is our problem. If the Old Testament is Old and "not useful", So why is it still part of the Holy Bible? I believe there should be a reason why is still kept as part of the Holy Bible.
Clearly, there's no unholiness in sleeping with more than one partner inasmuch you are being sincere with yourself and others. Don't preach against it, if you do the same thing. Don't point a finger, when you know the other four is pointing at you. Genuity and purity of heart is the answer. How can you be at peace and preach to others when you are not being plain to yourself?
Yes! In most cases, it's not that any clergyman or any person whatsoever pre plan living a polygamous lifestyle; one thing often leads to the other and things happen. Eventually they find themselves there, and they live with and by it. Never forget that humans are polygamous by nature...and that's just it.
We should now see where the Holy Bible permits it, please do not say is the Old Testament, because, it's still part of the Holy Bible. 2 Samuel 12:8 "I also gave you your master's house and your master's wives into your care, and I gave you the house of Israel and Judah; and if that had been too little, I would have added to you many more things like these!" Again, in 1 Corinthians 7:17 it is clearly stated that only God calls and gives, whether NO wife, ONE wife or MORE THAN ONE Wife. "Each of you should continue to live in whatever situation the Lord has placed you, and remain as you were when God first called you. This is my rule for all the churches".
Also, some might say, the ones that live a polygamous lifestyle will not enter the kingdom of God. My question is; who has ever died and was refused the kingdom of God and later come back to this earth to say was refused entry to the Kingdom of God because of having more than one woman? The Kingdom of God, the judgement for all our doings are here on earth. Be it good or bad we shall be judged here. Here is The Heaven and also The Hell... let's do good and never lie. 'Lying' is more of a sin than living a polygamous lifestyle. The most important thing is, you must know whom you are dealing with in any relationship.
One thing we should understand is, we are all 'anointed', you don't need any religious title to be an anointed one. It's all up to you and I to know how to use our anointing. We are all sanctified somehow. We must all know our calling, it doesn't have to be only in a religious gathering that we must serve. I respect all religions because faithfully all are meant to preach peace and love.
We should all remember this, "Big name doesn't amount to a good character". Well, character is achieved when tested.
Just be truthful to yourself and to others. Show love, peace and kindness. That's the magic of good lifestyle and peaceful living.
