We say the leaders failed the system; what about the youths not getting things right? They copy and follow the steps of the leaders that they claimed failed the system. Like some leaders failed, also some youths are failing too. What about those playing so cheap just for crumbs, selling their future and future of others and the generations yet unborn?
Self respect and dignity are missing , no love, no self pride; all is about what people can get and not what they can give. Greed, unprofessionalism, self interest is the order of the day; this is not limited to the leaders or the youths, not to women or men, not to the married or the unmarried, not to a particular political party or religion, not to do with geographical local or ethnic background, not to do with the elites or the common people; all classes and people are failing the system. Each individual must be accountable for self, don't plan a group.
What I can see is that there is indecency in high places, the more powerful they are, the more they are ready to destroy and abuse; they forgot, a time will come they will lose it all. Some can't act without being under the influence of hard drugs and alcohol, they can't act without being with gangsters and thugs. They rape women physically (sexually), and 'rape' the whole community of their belongings and future. They often forget that they have their own daughters, sisters, mothers and even wives. They will all pay the way they deal with other women, sure, it will be, unless they change and ask for pardon.
Cruelty in the name of politics, religion, power, money, fame and culture. Intimidation is another big problem, they intimate and silent some with money, power, even with hypnotism and black magic. Why?
A rethink we help us get back on track, until then, dignity, respect, honesty and peace will have no place in the society. Well, one thing for sure, there's no peace for the wicked and they will never be at peace, no matter how powerful they think they are.
We shouldn't forget what humanity is all about, we should not forget what life is all about, we should remember what culture is, what dignity means, what respect and love stand for.
As a leader, an elder, and one in the position of authority don't abuse the youths, don't abuse the vulnerable ones, don't abuse your followers, your crusaders, don't abuse those that are loyal to you, don't use and dump them; one day, they will revolt and probably disrespect when they can't take it anymore.
Each individual is important in their own way, so let's respect, let's be honest and show love and appreciations when necessary; also, we need to encourage and impact the weak and the less privileged ones.
