CSP ID Adedeji, The DPO, The Nigeria Police Station, Ilesha Wins MBE Improver Awards

Our paths crossed in a 'family talk', which we kept in 'family circle'. Since then, CSP ID Adedeji, The Divisional Police Officer, The Nigeria Police Station, Ilesha has been a very pleasant man and does his work with all his heart. A lot of obstacles in the system, but as a decent man that serves conscientiously; he keeps his calm and he never fails to take action when necessary.

After following his activities for a good while, I realised he deserves an award. An award is not just to appreciate what someone has done or doing, but to encourage them to do more. Someone like CSP ID Adedeji, needs our encouragement and support. For sure, there are still some good police out there and they need our love and moral support.

He made my four-day-stay in Ilesha tension-free, I was well protected and warmly welcomed, I had a sound sleep believing that the person in charge of the security and protection of life and properties is doing is best in protecting the community.

I truly believe in the saying that goes, it's not how long you've known people but, how well you keep the relationship/friendship intact that matters.

We'll be meeting again soon at  the premiere of our new Movie TERRAIN OF POWER and MBE 2018  IMPROVER AWARDS in February.

Do You Know What The Nollywood Superstar, Yomi FashLanso Seeks For?

Yomi Fash Lanso
Yomi Fash Lanso a decent and well groomed Nollywood Super Star seeks for our support. Sure, this we can do for a gentleman that impacts the society with happiness, not leaving out the essence of education in all he does.

He's one of the celebrities at the Celebrity Housemates Competition going on, it will end on the 11th of February 2018. All he wants is our votes; sure we can! It's a way of giving back to a great entertainer.

Leadership Is Sacrifice: Kolawole Kazeem, The Provost of Osun State College of Education

We've been acquaintances since March 2011, at a point we became friends and discuss whenever we had the time; at a stage there was an intermission in our communication. When we connected again, it seems there was no break in between, everything just as it was, we just picked it up where we left it; I'll say this is a sign of respect, maturity and spirit of real friendship. I could be a bit sensitive at times, but being a super gentleman that he is, he knows how to keep our friendship going. For this, I respect him and I see a good sign of leadership in him. I respect his calmness that doesn't lack strength, with my experience with him, calmness doesn't mean one is weak. Calmness is a sign of strength and wisdom. Kolawole is a stable and focused man. To know a bit about him, read the interview below:

You are a leader in different departments: what's leadership to you? Leadership is sacrifice.
How far would you go to sacrifice? As much as God gives me. I have started in my own little way.

Good communication skill is part of good leadership; how well do you communicate with your subordinates? Engagement is what drives my relationship with all strata of the college.

Participation Brings Representation: Otunba Wesco To Represent His Constituency

Otunba Barrister (Hon) Adewale Moses Osinubi addressing his constituents

When one participates, supports and contributes to the wellbeing of his community, It's sure one day will be given the opportunity to represent and serve them.

I have been a 'distant friend'/acquaintance to Barrister (Hon) Otunba Adewale Moses Osinubi aka Otunba Wesco; the CEO of Wesco Pools, Lottery Ltd and Wescobet International Ltd for four years, we became closer last year. Since, the past four years I know he has love of his people at heart, being the person I am, I watch closely and carefully from a far and try to see the truth within. Since, no one is perfect and we can't  see or know it all; so, we can't be sure of every bit. But one thing I'm sure of, after talking with him face to face, I can be sure that he's capable to serve conscientiously. He's well prepared and has a heart of gold.

Otunba Barrister (Hon) Adewale Moses Osinubi and friends

We only talk when we can, since he's a very busy person, and myself I have got my things to attend to. Whenever we talk, I realised how humble and caring he is; he's a bundle of joy.

He's now stepping out for 2019, to represent his people and give them the best they have never had. He's very helpful to the less privileged in the society, not only in his constituency. I can see clearly the opportunity of him representing Ijebu Ode, Odogbolu, and Ijebu North East come 2019.

I Say A Prayer With Every Heartbeat

There's a boy I know, he's the one I dream of
Looks into my eyes, takes me to the clouds above
Ooh I lose control, can't seem to get enough
When I wake from dreaming, tell me is it really love
How will I know (Don't trust your feelings)
How will I know
How will I know (Love can be deceiving)
How will I know
How will I know if he really loves me
I say a prayer with every heartbeat
I fall in love whenever we meet
I'm asking you what you know about these things
How will I know if he's thinking of me
I try to phone but I'm too shy (can't speak)
Falling in love is all bitter sweet
This love is strong why do I feel weak
Oh, wake me, I'm shaking, wish I had you near me now
Said there's no mistaking, what I feel is really love

Know When Interest Is Fading: Don't Accept Excuses

1. When they pick up their phone up today and they don't pick tomorrow; then think.

2. When they are not consistent and caring, and excuses are endless, then know it's fading.

Don't give excuses for people, don't accept excuses like; they are busy that's why they can't answer your call or call you. It's just a matter of priority, we are all busy in our own ways. We all give priority to things and people we love.

Remember, no one is too busy for love and to love; without love, we are nobody. When interest is fading; question it, address it. If there's no changes, then know you are right at the bottom of their priority list.

Most times you'll know it's fading, but you're in denial of what's very true.

Don't force it; 'fade away' too. Be happy with life, don't let fading interest get at you.

Oluwo of Iwo Wins MBE Heart of Gold Award

Natural, The King and Sola: Award presentation to the King

It was a long day but it well worth it. It took us approximately two hours to get to Iwo from Ilesha. Love, dedication and passion were all well in place to make such journey. Travelling on the road for the first time makes it look like never ending journey... We were a bit on the trip, every 20 minutes or there about I kept sending my location to His Imperial Majesty, for him to know that we were on our way; the road was not that smooth, also we didn't know our way. The Officer that drove us down was such a pleasant man, I was expecting some discomfort on his face, but rather were smiles.. this gave me the strength to carry on.

His Imperial Majesty, Telu1, Alashe Lori Orisha, Oba Abdul-Raheed Adewale Akanbi transmits inner peace and calmness, I felt so comfortable listening to him and discussing too... but we had to leave. He saw us to the palace main gate... celebrations begun. I felt like staying another hour or more, but we had to live.

He serves his community with love and kindness.

Do I desire to see him again? Yes is the answer, and very soon. He's a pleasant leader with loads of words of wisdom. A brave man, very straightforward in coming across to everyone. A very humble, spiritual and respectful leader he is.

Here are some of our conversations with the King:

What are the misconceptions of people about you; and how do you feel when you get to know? I don't worry about misconceptions, all I have to do is deliver my message.

What's religion to you? Religion is a set of rules and regulations, spirituality is the only pure thing and only God can you, not religion; spirituality knows no religion.

May the King Live Long!

Joyful Year 2018: I Sing Because I'm Happy

For some that don't understand our purpose
And may not understand our praise
We as the family in Jesus name
Would like to tell you the reason why we sing
Family
Someone asked a question
Why do we sing
When we lift our hands to Jesus
What do we really mean
Someone made we wonder
When we sing our song
At times we may be cryin'
And nothings even wrong

A Time To Say Thank You: Joyful Christmas

A time to reflect and be truthful to oneself... a time to separate the wheat from the chaff, a time to love and share... a time to think about humanity. A time to say thank you to friends and family.

JOYFUL CHRISTMAS!

People Perceive My Dad Wrongly: Hon. (Crown Prince) ABA, Son of Oba Olugbo of Ugboland (Obat Oil and Petroleum)

Hon (Crown Prince) Abayomi B Akinruntan

His humility and passion for his people caught my attention; as his self confidence and spirit of wanting to be himself without depending on his father got my respect. When our paths crossed, I was excited to know more about him and know what he's made of.  Being a political leader and a traditional leader gives him the opportunity to know so much on how to deal with societal problems. In my own words, I call him 'double leader'.

Hon. (Crown Prince) Abayomi B Akinruntan, member Ondo State House of Assembly, Representing Ilaje  Constituency 1, the son of Oba (Dr) FEO Akinruntan CON Olugbo of Ugboland is bold, brave and focused. The interview with him says it all:

How often do you get to see your dad? Occasionally, but we see more in the state here or at the seat of the throne.

How do you live your life as a politician and royalty? Ummm, both are the same.

Are you sure? As a Prince I represent my people, and at the parliament I do the same.

Our Impromptu Visit To Ilesha Prison: I Picked Myself Back Up

Sola Opesan Brown,  DCP Ope Fatinikun and Natural

Any opportunity to support the community in our own little way is always appreciated by Mother Nature. We went to honour MBE 2017 awardee (CSP ID. Adedeji), just across the road from the prison... I found it necessary to give a bit of me to the inmates and to encourage the correctional officers to be good and loving all the time.

We've Celebrated MBE 2017 Improver Awards In a Special Way

"MBE Improver Awards is celebrated yearly to acknowledge, celebrate and confer excellence on individuals who devoted their all in promoting human welfare and advancing reforms in their specific fields, not forgetting our cultural heritage, and what we as humans stand for."

MBE 2017 Improver Awards' door to door award presentation was fantastic. We're glad we did; it wasn't an easy journey going around different states and towns, but it was worth it. We tried a different way to suit our commitments this year and also to make it convenient for some awardees. The passion for what we do keeps us going.
I know some people have been wondering about MBE 2017 Improver Awards, also, we received many messages asking us where and when will it take place... well, we've celebrated MBE 2017 Improver Awards in a different way this year.
There are a few pictures below; we'll soon write on our experience with each awardee. Some awardees' pictures are not shown... we'll do later.

Why Menstruation Before Adulthood?

We often frown at early marriage (child marriage) and early adolescent childbearing; then why menstruation before adulthood? I'm not a biologist, not a gynaecologist and not the creator, but I woke up this morning wondering why menstruation from age eleven, even earlier in some cases.

Let's Respect All Professions

Many often some of us look down or some professions, forgetting that without these sets of professionals the circle of life will not complete. We should remember that, no one can do it all, no matter how skilful  and multi talented/professional we might be.

Awe-Inspiring Moment With Dr. Abel Ujiya Ademu (Bursar, Kogi State University)

Awe-inspiring moment with one of the powerful, influential and kind-hearted leaders that make great things happen quietly but hardly heard about. I'm very glad that my path crossed that of a worthy, humble and compassionate leader, Dr. Abel Ujiya Ademu, the Bursar of Kogi State University and President of Bursar Associations of Polytechnic, Monotechnic & College of Technology of Nigeria.

Here is a brief interview with the man with a heart of gold:
