We Write a Script and Act The Play All Alone

We write a script and act the play all alone until we share our feelings with the one that we have crush on; when the person accepts it, then he/she joins in the play.

Kogi State of Nigeria: A Place to Be

Kogi State (The Confluence State) is right in the heart of Nigeria, it was the first seat of power from where Lord Lugard ruled Nigeria. Lord Frederick John Dealtry Lugard of Abinger, The first Governor-General of the Colony and Protectorate of Nigeria. Lugard was born of missionary parents in Chennai, India on 22, 1858 and died April 11, 1945 in Abinger (surrey) England. He ruled Nigeria between 1914-1919 from Lokoja.

Lokoja turned to a very prominent point because it was located by River Niger, this made trading very easy. Kogi State is formed by three major ethnic groups and languages; the Igala in the East Senatorial District, Ebira in the Centarl Senatorial District and the Okun (Yoruba) in the West Senatorial District. There are other minority groups such as the Hausas, Nupes and few others.

There are  several attractive and historical locations to VISIT in Kogi State:

* Lord Lugard (Mount Patti) Rest House.
* Spot of Iron of Liberty for the Freed Slaves.
* Spot where Union Jack Flag was lowered.
* The largest cemetery in Africa where Europeans were buried.
* Confluence Points of Rivers Niger and Benue.
* The First Primary School in Nigeria.
* First Presidential Villa (now Kogi Government House).

LET'S go KOGI STATE!

Stage Your Case and Back Off

Let lovers be.
Let them love.
Let them dislove.
Adults are to make their own decisions and make their own mistakes.
You can not run their race for them nor experience what they are going through in the relationship.
Advice if you have to and then back off the scene; let them be.

A time for every purpose under heaven" - Ecc 3:1

And a time to hate" - Ecc 3: 8

Be Brave: Show Your Face

It's very irritating and upsetting seeing individuals with fake names and no profile pictures to identify them with; these people do make big nasty noise online about politicians, leaders and others in position of power.

I believe if you are not ripe enough, there should be no reason for you to write at all, you are being a slave to your write-up and it's a waste of time; back yourself up at least with your real name and face.

Be brave, bold and show up, if you are so sure about those negative posts and comments you're sending out to the world about others, and you are not being paid to do the dirty and cheap job, then step up in the game of real people. Let there be sanity and decency.

Little Princess Natural is Twelve

You know it doesn't make much sense
There ought to be a law against
Anyone who takes offense
At a day in your celebration

'Cause we all know in our minds
That there ought to be a time
That we can set aside
To show just how much we love you

And I'm sure you would agree
It couldn't fit more perfectly
Than to have a world party
On the day you came to be

Politics without Ideology = Political Prostitution

Political Tool

To some it's all about them and not the nation nor the citizens they claim to serve. Hence deadly virus everywhere, lack of loyalty, decency and simple sincerity.

The non-professional politicians are worse, they only support with sentiments because a politician or the other is a partner, lover, friend and or family; and often are not sincere in advising them, due to personal benefit, which leads to the politician self-destruction and in most cases instability of the nation.

We are all guilty of this; let's all change our mind set to safe humanity and leave a legacy of honesty and integrity behind.

Privacy is Gone like The Rotary Phone

Let's be conscious about what we post online to friends and to those who are not friends. We need to remember that each time we do, the message is being sent to the whole world which includes our in-laws, in-laws to be, work place, associates, and their friends and family. We should be us, but we need to check what we are sending out to the world, because this defines us.

Health is Decency and Stabilty: 20.000.000 Nigerians Suffer from Mental Illnesses

Health is wealth they say; I will also say health is decency and stability. If approximately 20.000.000 out of population of approximately 170.000.000 are suffering for mental illnesses, it means approximately one out of seven is affected. With this massive figure, there are just less than 200 Psychiatrists in the whole country, meaning many of those suffering from mental illness are without professional help; this got me thinking.

What is the government doing to encourage more professionals in this field? When people are healthy especially mentally, there will be wealth, decency, stability, orderliness and consistency in the system. I hope the government will pay attention into these illnesses which also affect some top officials, hence they make poor decisions in the law of the nation.

Cruise to Freedom, Pluralism, Happiness and Peace

"Cruise to Freedom, Pluralism, Happiness and Peace; No hate, No racism, NO discrimination, NO envy, NO jealousy, NO delusion of grandeur (only one higher being gets your back).

Globalization shouldn't only favor capitalism but enhance and better our understanding of the world, and draw all races and ethnicites together. 'The blood of a black, white, Asian, Chinese man/woman can save the life of a Chinese, Asian, black, white man/woman' "

- Kai Brown

For Those Who Ask for my Religion

"Are you curious about the faith I embrace, in a world where we share one fate? Do you wonder why I advocate peace among faiths, when we dwell in one world that has one destiny? Are you astonished that I care about mankind from Albania to Zambia? Do you ponder why I'm engrossed with people from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe? Do you contemplate why I advocate for a nonviolent world from Abuja to Zagreb? We hail from diverse nations with distinguishable boundaries, it seems. In reality, we live in one boundless world, with one sun, one moon, and a borderless sky. We inhabit a realm where the climbing plant pulls the surrounding bushes, when we pull the former. We occupy a world where we can’t run from one another.

The Day is Here: Break The Shackles

Nigerians fought for this day, campaigned for it, prayed for it, voted for it and set minds on it. Finally the day is here; let the weak say I'm strong, and the poor say I'm on my way to comfort and riches, and the voiceless finally say I have a voice.

We should all have a decent living, a happy life free of corruption, insecurity and oppression; a new Nigeria where we can all be proud of again with calmness.

Restore our lost glory and bring our pride back. President Buhari we congratulate you once again, we believe in you, please deliver the nation and reconstruct her. Uproot the bad weeds, the parasites that are against the growth of the nation and comfort of  the citizens. We have all been deprived of tranquility and happy living; now let there be equality and fairness.

The day is finally here, let there be new air, new sweet beginning...break the SHACKLES!

Nigeria Economy on The Edge of Collapsing

We can not be silent again, we just have to say it the way it is; GTBank is one of the millions of corporate entities being affected by the terrible shortage of petroleum products in Nigeria.

Today GTBank sent out her Notice of Early Closure of Branches. Business activities are not going on as they should, Nigeria economy is on the edge of collapsing.

Corruption has killed the system, the unruly, unkind, indecent and selfish rulers have drained the system dry and still playing holy by deceiving us with each word possible from their mouths.

Justice we demand; not justice after death but now, the law of the land must function to discipline these crooks.

The letter I received from GTBank :

"Dear Customer,

Notice of Early Closure of Branches

The current shortage of petroleum products in the country has limited our ability to supply diesel to all our branches, in order to continue normal branch operations.

Due to this, we unavoidably have to close our branches nationwide at 1pm, from tomorrow Monday, 25th May 2015.

Whilst we have had to take this step to close branch operations early, we would like to seek your understanding at this time, and assure you that we will continue to work hard at finding alternative solutions to this situation and will advise you once the situation has abated.

However, all our alternative channels will be fully functional and available for all your Personal and Business Banking: ...

We sincerely apologise for every inconvenience this might cause you and thank you for banking with us."

The Strength of The Woman

Nnamdi Ekeh

I am usually amused when men boast of being in charge. I think it is the other way round. Think about this. The quality of the man is reflective of the nature of the woman around him. By this, I mean the real woman in his heart. The wiring of the woman is such that she is capable of either raising a man to the heights or forcing him down into the abyss. The men possess the physical strength while the women hold the psychic power, which is where the real strength lies. Just let one woman make a graceful entry into a gathering of men. Observe how the men would unconsciously begin to comport themselves by adjusting their composure. This is because womanhood infuses refinement and discipline. This is one knowledge that is still latent; which needs to be unearthed, so that the real value of womanhood would be recognised and applied for the benefit of humanity.
 - Nnamdi Ekeh

The Man is The Head

A man and a woman in an affair are not equal, the man is the head. This is the truth. A man feels better and comfortable to be treated as the chairman. However, to be treated as such, a good chairman must be a happy man by respecting and showing love in every way possible to the woman.

* Give them the opportunity to be able to cater for their responsibilities.
* Give them the joy of life and living.
* Give them dignity.
* Respect them.
* Without them there will be no productive nation.
* Let's honour our workers and not our crooks.
* Let's have a happy Nation.

Give Them Sense of Pride

Let's give African children sense of pride. The leaders are doing it so wrong that the youth both home and away find it so hard to associate with their origin. They often ask questions that we parents hardly can give answers to.

Child: Why is Africa so poor?
Parent: Oh no, Africa is rich.
Child: In what?
Parent: In all.
Child: Why are people suffering and many "running away" from there?
Parent: Uhmmm.., sad. But she's rich and nice: only that the leaders are unruly and selfish.
Child: How? Don't they have children?
Parent: They do, but cater only for their immediate family and few friends.
Child: Sad.
Parent: Very sad! but things will change soon.
Child: How soon?
Parent: Hopefully the soon is now; the time to question the leaders and hold them accountable for what they have done and what they are still doing. Time for us to rescue our land from the hands of the careless ones and finally have a sense of pride and belonging.

We Reject The Pedagogy of The Corrupt

Dele Ajaja

The unethical officials brainwash us not to wash Africa's dirty linens in the open. They admonish us not to expose corruption, the agitated bull in our continental china-shop. They indoctrinate us to endure the infidelity they impose on the homeland. They mandate us to conceal what the world already knows about the tropical continent. The decadent bureaucrats reprimand us to embrace and celebrate incompetence. They blackmail, arm-twist, and cajole the audacious few who have a gripe with their immoral edicts. They liquidate the ‘saboteurs’ who won’t allow them to decimate Africa. Whilst the ill-informed bootlicking cadre accepts the crooked teachings of the corrupt, the discerning squad defies the status quo. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, we won’t consent to the pedagogy of the corrupt. Africa, the cradle of mankind, shall regain her rightful place yet again!”

Nigeria Integrity Must be Restored

Nigerians invested trust in General Muhammadu Buhari; the investment must yield profit:

* No to impunity culture which has killed the country.
* No to corruption.
* No to joblessness.
* No to insecurity.
* Must return our lost value.
* Must promote people's happiness.
* Must respect the Right to life and good living of each citizen.

Enough of "Checking Out" Because of Them

Each day, hundreds of Africans are suffering and a lot are dying; tell it not in Spain that an Africa child is dying crossing the seas, sing it not in Italy that an African child is drowning, say it not in the UK, France, Holland, Germany, Belgium that an African child is still seeking for "Political Asylum", never announce it in The US that an African child is still struggling and suffering each second.

Let's hold the Greedy Unruly Rulers accountable and get them to pay back what they stole and also discipline them so that others will understand the consequences of robbing the innocent ones and turning our continent into "unfriendly place" to live.  Enough of "Checking Out" because of them, now let the greedy unruly rulers "check out" because of the good of the land.

There is no reason why an African child should suffer this much.

A Beautiful People Raped by Ugly Rulers

Dele Ajaja

“Africa, a beautiful people raped by ugly rulers. Irreparably, my heart blasphemes the unethical potentates who brought the land to her knees. In the abyss of the night, my soul jinxes the traitorous personages who pillaged the Motherland. The spirits of my past ancestors shall hunt and haunt the memories of those who robbed the land of my birth. I have a vision that the sun shall rise after my continent’s darkest night. I have a mission to speak up for the homeland. Africa, the cradle of mankind, shall regain her rightful place once again.”

First Lessons From Grandma

Grandma (at age 93, died 4 years after) and I.

The first few lessons I received from my late grandma were as follows:

* Never be afraid of no one; fear only God.
* Respect all humans regardless of class.
* Age is just a number.
* Listen more, talk less.
* Self-discovery.
* Self-pride.
* Decency.
* To show stylish excellence.
* To move with the right people with similar vision.
* To be charitable.
* Education is the key to success.
* To worship and pray.
* To love.

It's Hard To Be Happy When You're Not Being a Decent Person

It's just the truth; you cannot have constant happiness if you're not being decent. You can fake happiness, but it's between you and your inner self, and nothing to do with the ones seeing you with fake happiness.

BE DECENT:

Decency in fairness to other humanbeing.
Decency in your living.
Decency in the way you talk.
Decency in your thoughts.
Decency in governance.
Decency in service.

Be decent and maximum happiness will follow.

Stubbornness and Bravery When Necessary

I conquered armed robbers with stubbornness and bravery at the second Toll Gate, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

We stopped just by the toll gate to buy some plantain chips, as I was about to pay I saw another face other than the plantain seller's looking at me, but I did not read any negative meaning to it, but the face was a very nasty one. Less than a second there came a strange man at the front passenger's seat; the driver carelessly opened the locks, then I knew there was a problem, I was very calm though. At this point I realised that they were two of them, one still standing outside while the other sitting beside the driver threatening him, I was the only one at the back, carefully listening and paying attention to the one inside, the one outside and of course the driver, so as to know how to tackle the problem.

Prof. Jega: It is Good to Look at Things Quietly and be Calm

Prof. Jega

Professor Attahiru Muhammadu Jega, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the body that is in-charge of Nigeria political elections is a man with top leadership skills, well branded, decent, noble, humble and genuine. When all were panicking, and the whole world watching with fear and uncertainty, Prof. Jega was calm and quiet focusing on how to handle Elder Godsday Orubebe peacefully.

"I would have endorsed Prof Jega for President because of the way he calmly handled that situation, but we already have one, President Buhari." - Pa Olusegun Obasanjo.

"Fellow countrymen, this is another historic moment in our democracy. Even if you are provoked to lose your calm, please be JEGA." - Pa Olusegun Obasanjo.

"It is good to look at things quietly and be calm so you can more clearly understand it and thus come up with creative answer." - Prof. Jega

"I am grateful to God, I was asked to come and contribute my own quota to the National development and I have done the best of my ability." - Prof. Jega

"To be great you have to be willing to be calm, mocked, hated and misunerstood." - Prof. Jega

Prof. Jega a dream man of many woman.
I pray for such spirit like Jega's on all our leaders.
Be Jega (Be Calm).

Ex-Liberian President Charles Taylor will Serve his remaining Jail term in the UK

Charles Taylor

Charles Taylor talking about CULTURAL AFFINITY, it seems he forgot when and how he was being mean and cruel to the same people that he is now seeking "Cultural Affinity" with. This is the time for African leaders to think about the future and not just today, not to be power drunk, kindness for humanity should be first on their minds.

Unkind and Unruly Leaders

Sani Abacha
What will the Money (Abacha Loots) that will be returned to the Nigerian Authorities be used for?

Switzerland to return $380 million part of the money stolen by Abacha.
Will this money be 'shared' as usual or be used for all citizens?
This is not the first time this kind of money was returned to Nigeria, but it is sad that ordinary citizens of this great and rich nation are still suffering and struggling each day. A large number of Nigerians have returned to voluntary slavery in other nations, just to seek for better world.
I hope this money will be used for the good of the people and the nation.

Idi Amin of Uganda
Leaders, think of these: Where is Abacha Today? Where is Idi Amin of Uganda today? Where are others like them?

Live good and leave a good you behind.

An Insight into Nnamdi Ekeh's likes and dislikes

Nnamidi Ekeh
Nnamdi Ekeh, founder "Nnamdi Ekeh Foundation for World Peace" gives an insight into his likes and dislikes:
