Leaving home is not always a very easy decision to make; but where we call home often a times does not provide what we aim for in life, as a result a search to the unknown starts in different forms.

Omar Amadou Jallow aka OJ, Ex-Agriculture Minister and People Progressive Party (PPP) leader speaks out against Gambia anti-gay law:

“I don’t think it is appropriate for us to send someone to life imprisonment because we don’t like them or what they do. And I am telling Jammeh and the Gambian people that if we want to implement shariah law in this country, it is illegal, uncalled for and unconstitutional because this country is not an Islamic state, but a secular state.”

Ex-Commissioner (Kogi State of Nigeria) Speaks Out

Hon. Barrister Thomas Ojoka Acholo, Ex-Commissioner for Culture & Tourism (Kogi State of Nigeria) speaks out to SolaBranded.com

You are a successful barrister, and your success in your field has enhanced your appointment as the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism of Kogi State of Nigeria; what was the experience like as a  commissioner and what would you have done better if any?
First and foremost  I am grateful  to God  almighty  for all I have achieved  as a lawyer and a Hon. Commissioner  for Culture and tourism Kogi state. The  experience as commissioner is an interesting one. In the  office you face a lot of things  both the ones you  plan for and even  unimaginable. As a Hon. Commissioner you are to try and address whatever comes to your  table. It is an office where you  meet  different  people on a daily basis. When in office  I never leave anything to chance because every day I enter my office  I believe that is 'The  last day'. I did all I have to do, I try to clear all the file on my table. As a political appointee you  can be drop at any time. So when the cabinet was dissolved, it does not come as a surprise.

What's the most funny story about yourself?
The funny thing  about  myself is that I don't feel as a commissioner  I'm more important than  any of the staff. I believe  we are all equal.

Are there any political or social issues you feel passionate about?
I feel passionate about some social  issues  especially when  some  junior staff are  better than their seniors in terms of performance in  the office, yet they were denied  a lot of benefits.

Lesbialism In Us

I was forced to suck a woman's breast from the very first hour I joined her; I knew nothing, I had to suck and suck, that was the only way to survive day and night. Whenever I cry due to discomfort of any sort, the first thing this woman comes with was breast all over my face at times blocking my nose, each time I manage to survive by trying to push a larger part of the breast away, just focusing on the nipple where my daily meal comes from, in form of white liquid.  It was not a pleasant experience at start, a bit uncomfortable finding the right position. After few days or weeks, the passionate eye contact came in, it took us time to know each other, it seems to be a natural process, at last we both defined the best breastfeeding/sucking position.

Nigeria 2015: Akinwumi Ambose in his own words

My fellow Lagosians, it is with a deep sense of gratitude and humility that I accept this ticket to run as the flag bearer of our great party, APC in the 2015 gubernatorial elections. This victory was made possible by you the people through the delegates. And to my fellow contestants, I have nothing but commendation and respect for putting up a good contest.
I congratulate all aspirants for the keen contest. I extend my hand of fellowship and ask you to join me, in not only winning the general election in February 2015 but to continue to build the tradition of excellence in governance that our party has come to be associated with in Lagos State. The success of this primary and the victory that has come out of it is not just for me but for all of us that stepped into the water. It is a victory for Lagosians and for democracy.

Concepts of African Traditional Religion (ATR)

Religion is a difficult word to define and it becomes even more difficult in the context of African Traditional Religion. I do not attempt to define it, except to say that for Africans it is an ontological phenomenon; it pertains to the question of existence or being. For Africans, the whole of existence is a religious phenomenon; man is a deeply religious being living in a religious universe.

Straight Talk with Hon. Wole Oke: Lawmaker At National Assembly (Abuja)

Straight Talk with Hon. Wole Oke; the two-term member of the House of Representatives, and 2014 Osun State of Nigeria Gubernatorial Aspirant.

Personal branding is a leadership requirement; how far would you go in branding yourself for the success of your career and development as a leader? Branding: I will simply lead by example. Do what I preach. The populace should know where I stand on issues and find me reliable and predictable.
As former Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Defence,  you have sponsored ten bills out of which four received the assent of The President; how do you feel with such achievement and what would you do better if giving the chance to serve your people again? They remain my treasure. Giving an opportunity to serve again, I will seek to proactively sharpen The Executive Arm of Government policies and direct the government productively.
